Formspring comment i felt like posting.
I never asked fate.
Never wanted to see the future.
Fires and chaos are more fitting in movies.
Seemingly obsessed with the now,
I have no regrets.
Taking a lesson from my mistakes
is easy if I don’t destroy to much in my blunders.
It does not however keep me safe from Nostalgia.
It haunts us all.
The times ago where stuff was… better?
Memories aren’t reality.
Self-Perception stored in our heads.
One events split differently by two people.
In the end neither is the truth,
or perhaps both.
We create our lives around us.
Why not our pasts as well.
History is a great example of this.
It is always written by the victors of wars.
Wars are fought day to day,
always on small scales though.
Large wars take too much out of us to happen so frequently.
What I’m trying to hint upon,
you can create your own past.
As long as you can convince others of it.
A terrible power indeed for us all to possess.
Which we do.
Be wary of people too freely of their past.
For they might use it to take advantage or obtain a certain favor from you, gods know why.
Earning it means more
you just have to work harder.
Then again,
I tell random snippets about myself to acquaintances. Although I think I’m trying myself to be open with my friends. If I can make information about myself random.
It’s not worth as much as I think it is.
Which makes it easier to tell my friends.
Strange… but yet
most things are.
